Block 2 & 3

I’ve been busy with life, but I’ve managed to already sew up Block 2 & 3. Block 4 is already basted and I’ve sewn a few pieces. The fabric line I chose, Catnap by RSS, has been so fun to work with and I’ve been able to use some of my RSS stash in the blocks, peep the Speckled in Verdant on block 2.

I’ve been debating starting to attach the blocks together as I go or wait until the end. Still debating but I will definitely keep yall posted with my decision.

Block 2 with all the smaller pieces took me longer than block 1 or 3, but I had such a fun time seeing the block come to life bit by bit. Block 4 also has a lot of pieces, but I think that it is nice that each month you will have one block that is faster and one is slightly more involved.

I’m still working on this quilt more on the side as I try to finish hand quilting my Picture Perfect (Traditional) Quilt, but to give my hands a break from the rocking, I switch it up and sew the BOM.
