Thank you for checking out my website! I’m Bri, the creative mind behind Wayward Threads & Paper Company. I fell in love with English Paper Piecing back in 2022. My first quilt took almost 2 years to finish, and I loved every moment of it.

I have been involved with fiber art/sewing since I was 9 years old when I picked up my first set of knitting needles. Over the years I have tried a little of everything but EPP has truly captured my heart.

I started Wayward Threads Co. in 2022 when I began making embroidered flannels that I sold mostly to boutiques, but also sold them online. The Paper Co. part of the name came about, in 2025, when I wanted to explore making English Paper Pieces with nontraditional paper shapes and sizes. As luck would have it I found Jessica Bree’s EPP Collaborative Community at the end of 2024 and Jessica took a chance on me and I began writing patterns for her beautiful designs in early 2025.

Starting 2026 we have a BOM- Pop Rocks, and starting in February the EPP Collaborative Community Sewalong ‘Starburst’ is starting.

Jessica and I have a lot in the works for later in 2026 so stay tuned!

I am available for freelance writing, and design; as well as making and selling paper kits and templates for designers wanting a custom and personal experience.

I have a smaller EPP pattern project that will be available for sale in mid February, after the designer debuts her work at a showcase in Australia!
